Yukito is the son of a cult leader, and after getting sacrificed to their unproven goddess, wakes up in another world.
The village that welcomed Yukito in appears to be a camp of outcasts, closely watched by law enforcement. When he finds his new friends dead and prays to the only goddess he's ever known, she appears, but weakened in this Atheistic world without the much needed prayer that gives her her powers.
For his safety and everyone else's, Yukito has to adopt his hated father's role and convert everyone he meets into worshipping his supernatural ally, goddess Mitama.
It's been a long time since I've written a review for a "bad" series, since I usually stop watching and move on. Why waste any more time putting my disdain in words. But this show hit all the wrong nerves with me.
Yukito is killed and enters a different world -already don't know why that even needs to happen- and wakes up to sexual assault. It's not explained why the perpetrator did it and he doesn't care to ask, either. What the fuck. Completely ignoring this, he accepts his assaulter's offer to come to her village and enjoy free meals. What the fuck.
He believes to have awakened inside a typical RPG game world for a bit, pretty funny, but a quickly abandoned plot point.
When he invents (?) wine for the villagers, they basically turn into annoying drunks every nights. Later, one of the guys randomly brings up a book that's basically the Kama Sutra, then that same night, his assaulter becomes inspired to assault him again, and I'm listing all of these things, because I want you to understand Yukito's nonsensical decision to save these people from the capital that wants them dead. Just how are these degenerates his "friends"? I'm rooting for the capital.
Episode 2 immediately has one of Yukito's guy friends loudly admit to be a pedophile as he lusts after the goddess, Mitama, who of course looks like a 10-year-old, because this is a Japanese creation. And instead of decapitating him on the spot, the others just give him angry eyes while he pulls some funny faces.
If someone pulls your dick while you're unconscious, they are not a friend and you get the Hell out of there. If someone speaks of marrying a child so small, she doesn't even have a developed fucking chest, they are not a friend, you murder them, and then get the Hell out of there. That wine fantasy scene with him and Mitama was too much -I knew I had to quit watching, because animes that're this unapologetically horny will only get worse.
The hideously distracting 3D animals and monsters in this show were also horrid, and Mitama bringing people back to life all the time isn't making things exciting, either, because it means there are no stakes.
I contemplated watching more, it's the fairest thing to do if you want to give something a fair rating, but.. it's not like I'm a fucking professional critic, fuck you, KamiKatsu, you absolute shitfest, you're not getting a second more of my time, suck a cheetah's dick, I got more to do.
